BA Pencil Holder :D

Wheeee!! Okay, this was the first of my many, many, MANY pet projects over the last month. A ceramic desktop pencil holder with characters and places from my "Bonekeeper's Apprentice" story! You already know that the blonde-ish one is Ivan, but the girl's identity will remain top secret for now. hehehe (her hair is supposed to be flowy, but I don't think it turned out right...)

Let's see... it took me about 12-14 hours to paint it (I had to apply layer after layer AFTER LAYER AFTER LAYER... etc. to achieve the right colors... that and I had to sit there and paint all those itty bitty details... My arm nearly fell off, but the result was well worth it. ) Then it had to be fired for a few days to get that glossy sheen. (No I did not fire it myself - I have no desire to burn my house down. I had a professional do it for me) All in all it took about 3-4 days to finish.
